<p>Well anyone whose SATs & GPA is in range has a shot (yours are). However, the difference between a waitlist and a acceptee comes down to his or her ECs/Essays. Sorry to say, but your ECs are neither stellar nor exceptional</p>
<p>WashU admissions are so unpredictable. They are known for waitlisting/rejecting overqualified applicants, so I would not say anyone is a shoe-in at that university.</p>
<p>WashU is nearly as tough as Penn or Duke. Your stats are impressive but in the WashU/Duke/Penn pool you're average, so I'd say you have 20-25% (their general acceptance rates) chance at each.</p>
