i was deffered EA. and now waitlisted. I am very upset, this is the only school that I want to go to. Does anyone know the rater of students that are accepted via waitlist?

According to the letter I got with my waitlist decision, the odds are not very encouraging. Since the school is so popular I don't think many wait slots become available. I would look elsewhere and not rely on a spot opening up - when, in mid/late May?

I heard that after you're put on the waitlist it is like waiting for somebody to call in and put in a good word for you. its sad that it works like this, but if you know anybody high up or who has a connection to BC, youd probably have a better chance of getting in off the waitlist.

i got waitlisted today, and i'm not taking it very well. besides buying a building, is there anything i can do to get off the waiting list or should i accept it and go to one of the other schools that i already decided i hate =/.

Just put your name on the wait-list and hope for the best. There's always transfer next year :)

I know a girl that got deferred and then waitlisted last year and ended up getting in in early June.

good luck :-)

Goodluck, everyone!

I was waitlisted at my first choice too, don't give up. Good luck.

I got rejected at my first choice and waitlisted at my 2nd
