Waitlisted and "First-Year Spring Admission" for Cornell?

Hey everyone!
Well, I just received the news that I was actually waitlisted for Cornell, which is really crazy for me because I never even dreamed about possibly getting waitlisted at an Ivy. So I confirmed that I want to continue to be on the waitlist for CALS and there was the option to be considered for their “First-Year Spring Admission”, which I also chose to be considered for. SO finally, to my question: I know the chances of getting off the waitlist for Fall Admission is quite low, but does anybody know the chances for being accepted to their spring semester? Do you have a preference or any sort of advantage?

Thanks for the help!!

I’m pretty sure the First-Year Spring Admission option is a new admissions option that was just implemented this year, so nobody knows the chances for that as there aren’t any statistics yet.
