Okay so I just got my third waitlist today (obviously Harvard), but I want to know about the waitlist with regards to second interviews. If you had a second interview, do you have a leg up on getting accepted from the list? Just curious (and rips**t from today's decisions).

my s had a second interview last year, got waitlisted and was accepted rather quickly off the waitlist. Go for it-just write a nice letter expressing your interest and any new accomplishments.

Dunno mate. I got a second interview as well - see the second interview thread. (Acceptance).

Waitlist is still an achievement! Congrats, and good luck!

b’smom, sound postitive. had a late interview and also waitlisted

b’smom, do you remember how long did Harvard give your son to decide if he wanted to take the spot? And what actions (like submitting payment etc.) were required? Thanks.

I think he had a week to let them know, but he let them know on the spot-he received a phone call from his Regional Rep in the Admissions department-the one that gave him the second interview. Then Harvard sends the packet.

Did he send in additional information? If so, what did he send in?
