I'm with you, man. I'm not entirely sure that Northeastern is the school for me, however. I hate to admit it, but I have been swayed a bit by sites like www.NUshuffle.com . My top choice was Boston University, where I was rejected, so now Northeastern is my only shot at a larger school in a big city. I'm really not sure what I will do if I get accepted. The other schools I've been accepted to are smaller liberal arts colleges outside the city (Saint Mary's College of Maryland, Goucher College, Beloit College, etc.), all of which have seem to have redeeming qualities of their own. I just don't know...

dont pay attention to that site!!! If you go into the message boards, you can read what people say. None of their complaints are valid. And seriously, there are more ppl in that message board defending the school than kids that are bashing it. I think if you click on "shuffle board" or "forum"... one of those... it brings you to it. Read them. Theyre rediculous.

that site hasnt been updated in almost a year

I've been waitlisted at NU, my first choice college. Anybody know the percentage of people getting off the waitlist?

Also how can you improve your chances?

my d is waitlisted for fall and admitted for spring - does anyone know when she would hear about financial aid? - she has to wait to hear about being off waitlist or not until after 5/2 - we need to know before that what the FA pkg will be before the decision can be made. I hope May is not when we would hear about FA.
