I was waitlisted at WashU (Olin), Vanderbilt, Duke, and Georgetown (MSB). Is anyone willing to look over my application and realistically chance me on getting off the waitlist based on prior experience? I think I have some unique "remember me" extracurriculars that would somewhat diversify the college, but I feel like I got waitlisted because the admission officers are looking for more. Please PM me if you can offer any help.
As for everyone else who got waitlisted at your colleges, I wish you the best of luck.

I honestly think that getting in off the waitlist is contingent on what you do in the next month or so, showing the school what you can do and what your plans are. I am in a similar situation, I was waitlisted at 5 schools. I plan on attending a science conference and co-authoring a paper, and of course showing these schools that i am doing that. I also plan on getting 2 additional recs. and sending a letter of intent to my top choices.

Thank you for your reply. Also, even though colleges claim they don’t rank their waitlist applicants, do they actually secretly have one?

Where have you gotten into, with what net cost after financial aid and scholarships, and what would your intended or possible majors be?
