<p>I was waitlisted at both of these schools and am wondering if there's a chance of admission--however remote-- at either one. </p>
<p>A day after decisions came, I found out I had received a national award for writing that students from both of these schools have received in the past (featured on their websites). Could this factor affect my chances of getting off the waitlist?</p>

<p>I was waitlisted at Exeter and rejected at Andover (still sore about that). I’m planning on writing a first choice letter to Exeter, detailing some of the stuff I’ve been doing since January, and including a copy of my report card. Definitely write a letter and tell them about your award.</p>

<p>I was also waitlisted at Andover. I’m going to try to get in anyway. Would you guys re apply next year if you didn’t get into the school of your choice?</p>
