<p>Ive been waitlisted at CIT, and I am planning to get placed on the priority wait list. But theres a section asking whether I want to try to apply for another school, and Im considering applying to MCS. But i really want to do mech. eng.</p>

<li>CMU is my top choice school, no questions. So would it be worth it to apply to MCS, get it (hopefully), and then transfer to CIT? Is it impossible? Im extremely confused, any advice would be great.</li>
