Waitlisted at CIT... What does this mean though?

<p>I am a little confused about being waitlisted at CIT but accepted to HSS...</p>

<p>Does this mean that if I do attend Carnegie Mellon, I will be unable to ever pursue a major outside of HSS? Or is there the possibility of switching into an engineering major?</p>

<p>Any help would be greatly appreciated in figuring this out.</p>

<p>You can transfer once in CMU, but you will have to apply if I’m not mistaken. Don’t quote me though.</p>
