Waitlisted at: SAS NB, SEBS, RBS NB, Engineering
(Applied to SEBS and Engineering in march after I had been waitlisted from the other New Brunswick schools)
I think you have decent odds; I was waitlisted at RBS and got into SAS with a 3.9 GPA and a 30 ACT. I ended up getting into RBS yesterday luckily. I think you definitely need to send some type of letter to an admissions representative; that’s what I did. I’m not sure what your school’s GPA scale is, but maybe you can explain how you’ve improved academically since you started high school / sent in your initial application. Overall, given all the Coronavirus uncertainty I think you are about a 50% shot of getting in. Best of luck and I hope I answered your question.
I already sent a letter but all they said was “We have added a note to indicate your continued interest in Rutgers”
Well honestly that’s a better response than I got! They never even wrote anything down for me, not even an email response. For them to respond is very positive. I’m wishing you the best of luck!!
@bdp123 that’s the same response I got. I feel like they’re just saying this to everyone who sent a letter.
One of my friends sent a letter, got no response, and got accepted a few days later.
What email did you send your letter to??
