<p>I’d guess financial aid, too. Even though few schools admit it, they will reject applicants when they can’t offer financial aid and they feel the applicant needs too much financial aid.</p>
<p>That has to be a mistake. That should be merit money at SMU, unless something else is seriously wrong with your transcript.</p>
<p>I took 9 AP courses. Every other academic classes were Pre-AP. I had pretty decent EC’s, lots of volunteering and community service. My sat score was 2130. I didnt apply for financial aid because I wouldnt get any if i applied. My GPA was a 92. I was ranked in the top quartile (in a small prive school with a class size of 60)
I shouldve gotten in with at least 32k scholarship. This makes no sense to me.</p>
<p>Are they rolling? If so, they could have run out of room for you.</p>
<p>SMU is getting competitive. It’s still underrated because people won’t forget about SMU’s old stats. </p>
