Waitlisted at UCSB. What now?

<p>I got waitlisted at UCSB 3.64 gpa with 2100 SAT score. and high 600's SAT 2's. Decent extracurriculars and about 150 volunteering hours. 5 AP's 2 Honors.</p>

<p>I accepted the waitlist but can anyone actually tell me the chances of getting accepted now?</p>

<p>Also im considering appealing but the problem is there really is nothing i can tell them. My gpa this year has been even lower than last year sadly..just over 3.0 weighted. </p>

<p>Approximately how many people get in out of the waitlisted people?</p>

I would definitely appeal and/or write a letter. I know someone who wrote a letter last year after being waitlisted and got in.</p>
