So i have been waitlisted for class of fall 2023. I have taken a gap year and I have been working with Resorts which is closely working with Hotel Management. I have applied to the liberal arts college, but coming from a background in business + working with my dad for the past 4 years. I have started enjoying some aspects of business, and I want to do courses in design thinking and luckily UVA has good courses for that. But I am currently waitlisted and I will be sending the college an application about what Ive been doing in my gao year + a recommendation from the hotel chain i worked with. But should I mention that i might want to change my major or should I leave it for later. Im not sure how it would affect my college chances. I really want to get into UVA its been one of my top choices, and I just want to be able to tell the admissions committee who i really am! What do you all think i should do?
