Can you accept 2 or more waitlists or only one? Thank

It doesn’t matter, I guess.
Even if you get admitted from the waitlist, the admission is not binding.
So why would merely “accepting” a place in the waitlist matter? :)

Accepting a place on the waitlist carries no commitment and no limit. I remember a kid last year who had been waitlisted at every school to which he applied. Should he have just picked one (out of like 9 schools) to HOPE and get in off the waitlist. No one would every expect that. So put your name on as many lists you want!

Just one thing to remember…depending on the schools you decide to accept, some schools will only give you 24 hours to decide after accepting you off the waitlist…therefore, if you accept more than one, be sure you know what you would do if that happens

Pretty sure you can accept as many as you want, I did the same thing after talking to my college counselor, but you should take yourself off any remaining once you hear back from one/accept.

You should stay on the list of any school you would like to attend, send additional info, call, and ask your guidance person to call for you to ask what you can do to make your application more competitive.
You can say yes to anyone who accepts you, all you lose is your deposit if a “better” choice takes you later.Just be sure to tell them so the next person will get a spot…

And just because you get off one waitlist and accept a position at one school, there is no obligation to get off the other waitlists if you are more interested in those schools. The ‘summer melt’ is a well-known phenomenon and schools plan on losing some of their admits as the waitlists elsewhere sort out.
