I was waitlisted at the UW with a 3.602 Grade Point Average, a 26 on my ACT, and a strong resume including one of 9 board members of a community service board, national honors society, and many others. I am a white female from the seattle area. What do you think my chances are getting off of the waitlist and into UW Seattle? Thanks!

I have pretty much the same stats. 3.6 uw GPA, 25 ACT, strong recommendations, community service activities, and ecs. Except that I’m an international applicant from CO. Since, you’re an instate applicant, I think you have a better chance than I do. Well, I don’t really expect them to accept me anymore though. I recently got rejected from UW Madison, so I’m pretty much hopeless since Seeattle and Madison were my top colleges haha. I guess colleges don’t like stupid students. Good luck to you!

3.6 does not make you guys stupid! very honorable grades to be proud of. I don’t know much about their wait list acceptance rate, but I wouldn’t give up hope!

Why, thank you for your kind words! I tried to show that I really care about UW Seattle by sending an email introducing more about me to the admission’s office, but they responded as I was bothering them. To be honest, everyone on this website who got accepted to UW Seattle this year had mad stats. Compare to them, my stats are pathetic haha :P
