<p>I was waitlisted. If I actively send letters and more credentials, do I have a chance of getting in?</p>

<p>According to Oberlin Common Data Set for 2005, 891 students were offered a place on the waiting list, 640 accepted a spot on the waiting list, and 33 were admitted. </p>

<p>I've met a handful of Obies who got off the waitlist in previous years. As rix shows, your chances aren't wonderful, but if you make sure the Admissions Office knows how much you'd like to be an Obie, you still do have a chance.</p>
