567890, Of course, you have a great chance to transfer to Cornell. I heard that’s not too hard.

It is hard if you aren’t applying to the contract colleges for transfer. Say for CAS, transfer acceptance rate is about 1/2 of that for freshman admit - roughly 7%.

so i sent cornell an updated transcript (im waitlisted for engineering) and i got the reply:

Thank you for the update to your transcript. Unfortunately, at this time, Cornell Engineering has closed down it’s waitlist and will not be taking any students from the waitlist for this year. You will likely be receiving official word of this shortly. I understand that this will be disappointing information for you, but we wish you the best wherever your college travels take you.

so, sorry engineers :(

KItTer1: did you update them yesterday and get that reply yesterday?

bump… 10 char

GO THE LETTER IN THE MAIL- that sticks. Because the school never saw the final transcript and all the awards etc. Did update earlier but, not happy they drag it on and give hope like that.

I have not received any form of letter or e-mail yet, what do you think this means?

Call or email them, none of us can tell you what it means for sure.

Has anyone who got a transfer offer to ILR received any follow-up info or the statement of intent?

bump. 10 char…

@abynyo yea i got a GT from cornell pretty much saying you can get in for 2013

Hi, jhc321, Congrats! You a GT from which school? When did you get it?

Quick question, does anyone have any update on ILR’s waitlist status? I’m pretty sure that at this point they’re not going to the waitlist, in which case we should already be getting the official transfer offer letters for next year. I haven’t received anything yet…
