<p>I've been waitlisted to Princeton, UPenn, Duke, Northwestern, UChicago, and Stanford.</p>
<p>It's overwhelmingly disappointing to know that I was so close for so many schools. I have a few questions, though. (1) Aren't waitlist acceptances extremely rare with schools like these, because yield is so high? and (2) What on earth can I do to raise my chances of getting in without annoying the regional reps of each school?</p>

<p>Yes, it is very rare to get in off the wait list. What safety schools did you apply to? Hopefully you were accepted by a couple of good schools that you will enjoy attending.</p>
<p>@student165797 In a similar situation… waitlisted for all of the schools I applied to (including UChi). Were you accepted anywhere at all? Or were those the only schools you applied to? Good luck with your wait lists!</p>
