Waitlisted for Cal Poly SLO. Chances?

Two things:

  1. Do I have a chance in SLO's waitlist with a 1330 SAT, 4.1 weighted GPA, 3.6 unweighted, and a solid streak of 3's in every AP test I take? I declared Physics on my application.
  2. When does SLO notify you? I am aware that you will hear from them BY May 15th, but are the decisions for sure coming AFTER the May 1st deadline that most schools have, or do they notify as spots become open?
