<p>He has all A's. 99% in all 4 sections of the SSAT. Lives in Oregon. He needs financial aid. Do you think the need for aid is what hurt him?</p>

99th percentile SSATs, need major FA. might have been the ticker, but who knows? </p>
<p>deerfield (got WLed there too, eek) said that they probably wouldn’t offer any spots until april 11th, because april 10th is commitment day. i think you should use april 10th as a guideline. then again, i’ve heard of people who got off waitlists on like, march 13th, so…</p>

<p>You mentioned that you are on WL for deerfield. Have you received the letter already. I was told that they only mailed out today.</p>
<p>I don’t think that financial aid is the reason why people got waitlisted considering Exeter is a need-blind school. I got rejected…:(</p>
