<p>I was #30 out of 30 on the waitlist for Math 31B last quarter and spoke with the math department about my chances of getting in. They said that for most of the lower div math classes, they automatically admit everyone on the waitlist. The day before classes started for winter quarter, I was enrolled. So if this also applies for this quarter, you have a great chance of getting in! I would call/email the math department to confirm though. 
If this doens’t apply, plenty of people do drop, so either way you should be fine.</p>
<p>Thanks, I’ll email the math department. I was freaking out because I need this class to meet the minimum unit requirement and I only have mgmt120a as a backup.</p>
