Currently, I'm 13th on the waitlist for Phys2A. Class size is 200, I think. Is it a bad idea to stick with physics or should I try to get some other class?

I'm also 2nd on the waitlist for Vis22--is that bad?

i think you should have a back up! I was going to waitlist for physics 1a--i was 35 in line, and the counselor told me it was unlikely I was going to get it. I dont know if number 13 gives you a better chance, but in the end, I dropped the physics and went with another class.

i think you stand a really good chance. people tell me that ~10% of people drop a class.

actually lots of people drop physics - especially freshmen. 13 isn't too bad; i'd stay there and keep an eye on the classes that you could be taking instead. if THEIR waitlists start growing, it'd be wise to switch.

i agree w/ astrina. stay w/it, tons of people will drop .

Oooh awesome. Thanks; I feel a lot better about this now.
