<p>As the title suggests, I have been placed on the waitlist for the Plan II honors program, which happens to be 90% of the reason I applied to UT Austin (this was before I knew about the BHP, though).</p>
<p>Any other Plan I waitlistees out there? Any alumni of the waitlist? Any idea what my chances of admission off the waitlist are?</p>

<p>I was also wait listed. I don’t know what the chances are, but since only about 50-60 people are put on the active wait list, I’d say its a little more favorable than a waitlist at a larger institution.</p>
<p>I too was wait-listed. However, in my situation, it might be understandable why I was, lol. I applied to both Natural Sciences Honors and Plan II, so I’m assuming the Plan II committee probably saw I wouldn’t be a good match. Just an assumption, on my part, though.</p>
<p>Lots of really great people were wait listed from plan 2 at my school and one really surprising admit got in (not a minority , just if your wondering) with a total of only 2 people being accepted at our school! And were a very large competitive public. Competition was tough this year it seems.</p>
