Hey so I am a guy and I was waitlisted for U Michigan Musical Theatre. I accepted the waitlist offer. It is my top choice, and I will 100% go if there is a spot.
How many make it off the waitlist? Is there any way I could improve my chances to do so?

that is what I’d like to know too. I was waitlisted too. I can’t imagine anyone turning down a spot so ya chances probably aren’t real good. what do you think it means to be for the wait liste to be unweighted… so who do they take and how do they decide. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi guys, do not despair! I know several guys who were granted admission who are considering other options. I think the biggest thing is just maintaining a strong demonstrated interest in the school! Also, keep in mind that MT classes can shift well into the summer.

That was quick.
Four years ago no one came off the wait list as everyone who was accepted took their offer (both male and female). In subsequent years one or two spots opened up for males and females.
my d is on the wait list and I’m not sure how you handle this whole thing come may 1st. Do you just commit to another school while you wait to see if a slot opens up? Do anyone know of any girls not taking their spots this year? I guess we now knw there are at least 2 people on the wait this troybolton33 and 152398. My D was notified via email
You need to secure a space in case the wait list spot doesn’t open up. You would put a deposit on another school and risk losing it if the wait list spot opens up.

Does anyone know how the MI wait list works? How many on the list? How it all works?
I know of one or two people who are declining Michigan if anyone on the waitlist was wondering!
I’m aware of two boys who apparently are declining Michigan for CMU and two that have declined Mich for TSU.
Is anyone aware of any girls declining MI and if so what their profiles are? I guess more info is better than less if anyone has any.
Does any know if any of the girls come off the waitlist? We got an email saying the class of now complete. Has anyone heard whether that ever changes in the summer/
