Waitlisted for UCSB. any chance for UCD?

Do you guys think i have a chance at UC davis? >.>;; this kinda sucks ive only gotten into UCR so far and rejected/waitlisted everywhere else…

W GPA 3.83
SAT: 1880
SAT2 Math 2- 710
SAT2 US History- 690

They accept people differently. However, going off my uneducated opinion, it seems Davis might be a tad bit easier to get into. Im basing this off the stats from collegeboard, though I’ve also heard it said Davis is harder to get into.

Basically yeah you still have a good shot, I think. I’m hoping I get in!

I got into Irvine and was denied to Santa Barbara…I sure hope davis pulls through for me tomorrow, its my first choice :(

i’m in the same situation…i hope for uc davis so i have some options. lets hope for the best.

what was your major?

zzz i put my major as undeclared social sciences…

If it comforts you, there are different point cutoffs based on which college and major you applied to. Social Sciences has its own point cutoff, which is different from Humanities like English, and even less competitive than colleges like Biological Sciences and Engineering. Sit tight, and don’t worry :3

^ Hey I started that thread lol.

@KMA: We eat our own young here :3 But no, that thread is so useful, so yay for starting it!

I’ve been waitlisted at SLO and UCSB…and rejected from UCLA and UCSD…so things are looking bleak… I hope I get into Davis… i really like it there!

good luck everyone! do you know what time tomorrow we find out?

@kbenson
i think people said 5pm PST tommorow… man i hope i get into davis too T.T tired of being rejected zz

I think you have a good chance at Davis. I think Davis should be easier to get into than UCSB. Davis admits a lot of people. Good luck.
