Waitlisted from Cornell, Duke, Northwestern. The best chance of getting in from wait?

Hi guys,
As I have mentioned in the tile, I got waitlist from Cornell, Duke, and Northwestern, all of my top chioces lol.

I am trying to appeal them as much as I can, especially by asking schools to send additional letters to their admission offices, but which school has the best chance of getting in from waitlist? Cornell? Northwestern? Duke?

Please help me out!!

I have never met anybody in Cornell who was waitlisted originally. Considering the vast increase in applications the last few years, I’d say your chances are not great.

Hey OP, don’t stress out :)

Try all of them. Here’s what you do:

Right now, enroll in your favourite/top school where you were accepted so you can reserve a spot (just in case). Then write a really good letter to Cornell, Duke, and Northwestern and express your continued interest in (name of school).

Do you have a top choice out of these three? If so, and you really want to go, tell them that if you are admitted to this school, you will definitely attend.

If they didn’t state that you couldn’t send in an extra recommendation letter, go ahead and do that.

GOOD LUCK! Hope to see you at Northwestern, haha.
