<p>Hi, I've been waitlisted for Harvard.
and I'd really love to go there.
However, my counselor seems to know only a little about Harvard
so if any of you know what I should do next,

<p>Stats are SAT M-800, V - 790 Writing 800, ACT 35, Full course load of AP's this year, past years AP scores 4 & 5, Class rank 1 of 360, Small, blue collar town on the West side of Rochester, New York. EC's are probably the weakest area, all are centered around school activities, band, math league, masterminds, NHS, peer-tutoring. Teacher recommendations are thought to be excellent.</p>
<p>i personally asked some of the JPL engineers to write me rec letters.
also, a senior electrical engineer from Parsons offered me to write me a letter.</p>
<p>i'm interested in studying engineering, so i had contacts from engineers.
i live in los angeles.

completing 12 aps at the end of graduation.
1200-student small school, a science magnet.</p>

international applicant; been in the US for a little over two years (originally from Bangladesh)
interested in studying biochem (interested in going to medical school)
ecs: academic decathlon (team placed 6th in state), science club (president), creative writing club (president), volunteer at hospital, interact, los angeles world affairs council.
