"Thank you for your interest in Case Western Reserve University. The admission committee has carefully reviewed your application and has determined that we cannot extend an offer of admission to you at this time.

Each year Case Western Reserve receives more applications from academically promising students than we are able to offer admission. The committee's decision does not reflect a lack of confidence in your ability to pursue demanding university studies.

Again, I wish to thank you for your interest in Case Western Reserve University, and extend best wishes as you continue to pursue your academic goals.

Sincerely yours,

^Does this mean that I am waitlisted or rejected according to the statement that CWRU "cannot extend an offer of admission to me at this time."

Can I still write a letter noting my interest and what I have accomplished (awards, etc) ever since submitting my application in January?
