Didn’t expect much with my ****ty GPA. I’d like to know who else has been waitlisted and what everyone’s stats are. It would be useful in determining the chances of getting off the waitlist.

I was waitlisted too.
98.89 Gpa
2050 sats
solid ecs
terrible essay (I really hated BC’s essay topics for some reason)

I was actually surprised to be wait listed , I was expecting a flat out rejection. I don’t think I’m going to accept a spot though because honestly BC is not my number one (or even in my top 5) so I don’t want to take away from the kids that actually really want to go. Best of luck to you guys though!

Unlike some other lucky BUTTS I don’t have any private schools to fall back on. I’ve got 1 or 2 decent -and I use this term loosely- public schools that want me.

We should recommend sitcoms and ice cream flavors to each other to cheer up. I’m gonna watch “The Nanny” on YouTube. I don’t have ice cream, but I have frozen yogurt tubes from Trader Joe’s.

Is everyone accepting their place on the wait list? For future posts in here, just include wether or not you’ll be accepting a spot. Boston College is my top choice and I was wait listed today- I’ll definitely be taking a spot on the list.

It seems like they may waitlist by which of the four colleges you applied too also so maybe providing that too will help?

I accepted my spot on the CSOM waitlist, I was originally deferred from EA so surprised but happy I wasn’t rejected!

Sucks BC is my #1 , anyone else confused about the wording on the waitlist info?:

Decisions will not be made on admission until June 12 ,but they pledge to resolve our status by before June 12???

I was waitlisted surprisingly, expected rejection. Letter said I was waitlisted because of my “exceptional potential” i dont know about that but i did accept my waitlist position. I doubt Im going to get picked anyway.

SAT: 1920

I am not going to accept the waitlist spot…
Because although I like BC… It’ll be a heavy financial burden on my family if I get in… And since I am an international student I am not eligible for financial aids. So I will give my spot to those who suit it and love it more !
