Waitlisted people unite!

I will not attend Northwestern next year. (I'm deciding between Caltech and Rice) Bring any hope to you guys??? Guess not... I'm only one person, unfortunately... lol

ilabcurious1423 , that's correct, NU does not defer from ED to RD. If you apply ED you will either be accepted or rejected.

But the admission rate in ED is higher too, so there is that advantage at least.

Thank you Nan and Txtravis! Well, I guess that when I apply ED I will just have to hope for the best!

-This is my top choice school and I hope that they don't take into account my low gpa Junior year( I transferred to a much harder school).
-I have done a summer program there, which may be a hook in the RD round (since they want a high maltriculation), but in the ED round everyone who they accept is 100% likely to go there.
-Also, by applying RD I could raise my gpa.

What do you guys think? Does anyone know the overall stats for this year's ED round?

Ahhh!!! It just keeps getting harder each year!

I'm definitely staying on the wait list for NU ! I'm still kinda anxious about that, now that you mention it :P
