I think that they will have another wave of decision for waitlisted people sometimes around June 1st. That’s the deadline that they supposed to answer you.
My SAT score is 1890 (I know it’s horrible) but the good thing is I’m doing full IB Diploma. But still, I don’t know why they accepted me off the waitlist because they didn’t mention the reasons.
But I did send them an email and said that NEU is my first and top choice and so I’d love to attend NEU. That’s all. It’s better if you don’t show off all of your positives because they’ve already knew what you’re good at. But if you have any new or updated grades, do email them those so they have more documents to reconsider.
Apparently the admissions team of NEU is not really active these days, I don’t know why but I sent them an email about 1 week ago asking them some questions but they haven’t replied me yet. Actually, you should email the Waitlist admissions team, if you don’t have it, here you go: waitlist@neu.edu
But if you aldready have it, then do email them and explain your situation and your interest in NEU and they probably will reconsider.
Hope to see you soon in NEU! Good luck!

Thanks no worries . Umm well as said in the fist post don’t try and suck up to them too much or they might see you as being desperate, which isn’t a good lasting impression to have when they are making important decisions.

I sent them one e-mail to the link “vongockieuduyen” gave, i never received a response back from them, but just waited in hope.
Also i hope you don’t mind but i checked out your previous post history and noticed the feed about your college essay. the systems which they have in place to recognize those sorts of actions are so hi-tech and sophisticated they can recognize it even if you re-worded it. what i think one of the checks are the computer will monitor what style of language you use and even if you re-worded the sentences which fitted so well with yours they could possibly even pick up a different track of thought/style of writing.( Im from the Uk and i know thats what happens in the uk uni admissions). So if the admissions dept have realised that, especially as your source was on a very public site then that could be a reason why you haven’t heard back yet.
trying to justify something like that i think would just dig your self deeper into the ground, so Just hang on in there and wait for them to make the move, the balls in their court, you’ve done as much as you can already do. Don’t do any more which could seem like a good idear but instead may just jeopardize your position.

Oh shoot, I emailed the admissions.neu.edu email rather than the waitlist.neu.edu email. Should I re email

Nevermind, I just e-mailed the waitlist@neu.edu e-mail for the first time. I’ll stop sending stuff now.

Lol, you’re too funny man. I hope you get in ;). My fingers are crossed for you.

It’s okay. I think you really should email them so they can reconsider.
I feel like you’re very interested in NEU. I love how you’re really enthusiastic! I really hope you can get it. Best of luck! Just don’t forget me, okay? haha JK :P

If you decide to email them again, which may or may not be a good idea, email the admissions officer for your area. You can find him/her at neu.edu if you do a little searching.

When are waitlist decisions coming? It’s like 1 week away from June 1
