Waitlisted questions

I was recently waitlisted at Wellesley, but if I were accepted, I would really like to go. I’m still waiting on some factors before I send an official letter to Wellesley updating them on my current progress and awards I’ve earned. I have two questions. 1. I am able to pay the full tuition (I didn’t apply for any FA) is that worth mentioning again to Wellesley as incentive to admit me? 2. I live relatively close to Wellesley and I will probably be going to see the school again. Is it worth trying to set up an in person meeting with someone from the office of admissions so I can present myself as a good candidate for Wellesley or should I just send the letter and leave it at that? Thank you!

  1. The Wellesley admission process is need blind so mentioning your ability to pay full tuition won't help your application.
  2. Definitely send a letter. But since you live nearby, it can't hurt to visit. Good luck!
