What next do I do? Will emailing/mailing a letter help?
I was waitlisted Jan 31. Sent in my mid term grades february 16th and checked on the 23rd and was accepted. There is still a chance it will happen.
When were you waitlisted?
I was waitlisted on February 21. I sent in my mid term grades on February 6th because I didn’t know we did not have to submit it unless waitlisted. Did I make a mistake by submitting my mid year grades before being waitlisted? @senioritis62018
No. No mistake. I just sent mine when they came out. They didn’t specifically ask for them I just did.
Curious, how do you send in your mid-year grades? Did you update the Self-Reported Academic Record (SRAR) even though it is supposed to be used only for completed classes? Or did you mail or FAX a copy of your report card?
Update - I see in other threads that you do update the SRAR. This is a bit annoying, because:
- We were never told by Rutgers that updating the SRAR was required or helpful
- The SRAR instructions specifically say not to include senior year grades until the class is complete. All classes are currently listed as “In Progress.”
Anyhow, time to update the SRAR and see if it helps. Thanks.
Just to update the above, the “Waitlisted” in the RU portal is not just plain text, but is a also a link to an explanation of the Waitlist, including a recommendation to add mid-year grades to the SRAR.
