I'm waitlisted in Cornell, Will the letter from Alumni help? or An additional recommendation letter from a teacher will boost my chances? Should I send it now or send it towards the end of month?

There’s no time like the present. Sending additional recs can’t possibly hurt, and you never know when slots will open up, so you might as well do it now.

I disagree- – send one note, restating your willingness and intent to matriculate should you be offered a slot. If there is a KNOWLEDGEABLE instructor/coach/supervisor who could sumbit ONE letter on your behalf, do so. An alumnus’ opinion is nothing compared to a teacher/coach/boss. (Unless this alum sends in multi-million dollar donation along w/your LoR, that is)

Multiple LORs? No way.
