Waitlisted... show em my skills?

Dear CollegeConfidentials,

I was waitlisted by Pomona College. I be bummed. :(

So I'm considering about sending supplemental stuff to adcom. I sent a very solid letter of interest, I got someone to write another rec for me, and I emailed + phoned them about my interest.

So now... I would like to send them some slides of my artwork. I don't want to come off sounding arrogant, but I'm really really good at art. Some of my stuff got sent off to state competitions and were featured in the newspaper so I want adcom to know how strong I am in art.

The only reason why I'm hesitating about sending art in is because I'm not majoring in art... but I would definitely do art during college... so...

Is this a good or bad idea?

Yes, colleges like applicants with great skills.

Like bow hunting skills, nunchuck skills, computer hacking skills...

Thanks for the unneeded sarcasm. <_<

Anyone else please?

send it in - shows your creative/multi-talented.... how is that going to hurt the application

Do you have a moustache?

edit: but if you're not actually going to be studying art, I'm not sure it would help to send such a supplement. Either way, I suppose it doesn't hurt in anyway, especially since you're waitlisted, so go ahead and send it.
