Anyone who got off the waitlist?

Curious too… has there been any movement at all?

I’d like to know as well.

bump… I want to know too … waiting for the waitlist answer, checking my email every hour… it is getting tiring… hope this ends soon

If you get accepted off the waitlist, they call you. So you may want to check your voicemail every hour (instead of your email).

I am an international student so… I am not sure how they are gonna contact me…

Ahhh. Are you requesting financial aid?

I heard that 12 students were accepted off the WL the first week in May (had the GC call). They were waiting to see if any were taking it or not. More offers would be coming but they would be NOT be need-blind at this point so if you need a lot of fin aid, doesn’t look good. It was the GC who called Admission Rep. Average number of WL accepted over last 9 years is only in the 50s. Anyone heard anything else or heard from Midd in the last week?

Nope nothing… not even a single email.

Just read this on the Middlebury website:

the College had originally planned to admit at least 50 students from the wait list this year. With the high number of students who have decided to matriculate at Middlebury, the College has accepted only 10 from the wait list and does not expect to admit many more, if any. - See more at: <a href=“Middlebury News and Announcements”>Middlebury News and Announcements;
