Waitlisted & the Statistical Chances of Getting In

<p>The 2004 common data set doesn't seem to be posted.
Glen Turney is the new director of institutional research, you might try calling his office to get a copy or find out the Wait List info.

<p>I haven't been able to find Rice's wait list size posted on line, just the number admitted from the wait list in 2003.
But they did get 16.9% of their class off the waitlist in Fall 2003, so at least that year they used it extensively.</p>

<p>Stanford had swings in the entering class from 1749 students in fall 1999 to 1598 students in fall 2000.
Since Fall 2002 they have been using the wait list more and kept the class size about 1640 students.</p>
