Does anyone have informed guesses over the likelyhood of getting accepted off the waitlist ?

According to the Common Data Set for 2009/10 there were 253 applicants put on the wait list and of those 165 were ultimately offered admission

Thanks for the information and the reference material. I don’t want to get too optimistic, but the way I read the Common Data Set was that 253 were offered wait list spots, 165 accepted positions on the wait list, and all 165 were eventually admitted. I realize that every year is different and this year’s wait list is much bigger (400?), but these are encouraging statistics.
