Has anyone heard back yet regarding Wash U waitlist? My son in same boat - 33/3.98 excellent extracurruiculars - and on hold until we hear back.
My son was accepted off the waitlist for Olin Business School. He showed a lot of interest including a visit, application for department scholarships, and thank you cards and letters. We are excited beyond belief! He had a 7.17 weighted gpa, cancer research internship, 4 years of varsity sports, many AP classes, and dual enrollment.
I volunteer with APAP (an alumni/parent group) and on June 17 I received an e-mail that said: “This month marks the end of the 2014-15 Admissions and APAP cycles. Washington University received over 29,000 applications for our freshman class of 1,700 students. As the class is now full, waitlisted students were recently notified that no additional students can be admitted.” Congratulations to those who were admitted and have accepted. You are about to embark on a wonderful four years! To those who were not admitted, there are many other great colleges and I wish you the best of luck.
