I was waitlisted, I live in Texas Asian Male, 1500/1600(reading and math), 2200/2400 sat score…3.8 unweigted gpa, with 10 A.P.s + 6-7 Honors Classes.

I will send in many letters/emails.
I may visit.
Send in more recs/grades.

does anyone have any suggestions though, as I would like to hear them as well, I know BC says they do not track interest, so what can you do, BC is my number 1 choice and I would go if I got in, is there anyway to let them know this?

I don’t believe BC really cares if you submit anything. I mean, clearly the students who were already accepted will be given priority. As for the students on the wait list, I’m sure BC has some specified order of students that they’re willing to accept.

you shouldn’t really send anything in because it’ll annoy the admission reps., just wait till may 1st…some ppl say that there will be several open seats at BC, we’ll just have to wait and see

^^^ well emory where I was also waitlisted, says they don’t rank, instead if spots in their incoming class open up, they re-review all of their waitlist applications…

When I got my letter saying i was waitlisted in the mail it said that BC doesnt rank applicants… they will reevaluate in order to determine who they let off the waitlist.
On another note, kids who can pay will most likely have an easier time getting of BC’s waitlist this year bc of the financial crisis etc.
