I am waitlisted. I don’t know why:( What is the % of people who get accepted from the waitlist last year?

I also got waitlisted and I’m curious about this stuff too.

I got waitlisted too. Keep in mind UC Davis’s admissions process isn’t exactly holistic.

Me too. I have 2020 SAT and 800 Physics and 800 Math II. :(

i got waitlisted last year and somehow made it in. your chances of getting in depends on how many people decide to accept the admission offer to their major. if there is an open spot, the selection will be made from the people who accept the waitlist offer. make sure to have a back up plan just in case.

I think this year is a confused… Solid applicants were all waitlisted… Especially those who apply for aid… :(:(:(

This year is weird… Davis with the waitlisting and UCSC rejecting top students.

It is because UCD decided to lower their admission rate by 8%. Plus competition is unusually fierce this year. I was waitlisted as well with a 3.92 GPA and 32 ACT.

I was waitlisted with a 3.85 UC GPA and 33 ACT…yikes.

seems like they prefer good GPA?

I got waitlisted too :(

there’s really no answer as to what are your chances on the waitlist, all depends on how many spots they’ll have left
