Waitlisted. What to do?

Hi,

I am an int'l from pakistan. I had applied to umich in mid-jan but i was waitlisted on 15th April. I really wanted to get in. Is there still a chance for me to make it in? What should i do to improve my chances? Send my mid-year grades? here are my stats: SAT1 2230 (1430), SAT2(M1 800, M2 800, physics 770), All As on my hs transcript, toefl 111. Ecs are ok. I could not satisfy the hs courseload requirement of umich but i talked to their int'l rep n she seemed ok with that. I also wrote a separate note to explain my situation. Please do respond.

Thanks.

Your situation is not that bad.
I am from China, and I can tell you how Umich deals with int’l students.

There is a forum as CC in China. It is for elite, i mean, the rate of USC acceptance in that forum is much higher than 50%.
However, the acceptance of Umich RD is only 3%. 97% are in waitlist.
Now, i think you are released

thats scary…
BUMP!

I am chinese too, although I am not international.

Bump!!!

BUMP! please…
