Is it worth it to wait or highly unlikely?

Skidmore was my number one but... I hear it's hard to get off the waitlist and even if I do, I am last for housing, classes, etc.

Suggestions? Tips?

I have the same issue, Skidmore is my number one choice as well, and I got waitlisted. I’m going to fight to get accepted off the waitlist, but I’m not going to count on it. My major worry is financial aid, if I’m accepted off the waitlist, will I be able to get a good comprehensive aid package like the ones I got from Sarah Lawrence or Trinity?

I am in the same boat as well. Skidmore is still my number one choice as I am very interested in the FYE London program. I have already sent my card back to remain on the wait list plan on doing whatever it takes to improve my chances. I was a little disappointed at the range that was given as to how many students are offered admission (0 to 80) but I can only hope.
Since the London program is only taking 35 students I worry with such a small number I will not be offered admission. Any suggestions as to how I can show Skidmore I am highly motivated and interested in the program beyond what I had mentioned in my supplement/interview?

Give Skidmore a call. It can’t hurt you and it will show that you are truly interested in going there and getting into that program. I hope this helps. Good luck!

Same boat as me. I really hope we all hear good news! Skidmore was my number 1 as well. I am writing a letter and doing everything I can to get off the waitlist. I want to do something that will stand out at this time but not scare them off!
