<p>I know the waitlist is basically a polite way of being rejected, but one can still hope, right? Supposedly those of us on waitlist are supposed to hear from them by July 15…has anyone heard anything? I just need to hear an answer, whether positive or negative…but all this waiting is just driving me insane. Has anyone previously or currently experienced waitlist?</p>
<p>@myheartisinslo: This is really random considering this was posted over a year ago, but did you ever end up getting off the wait list? I’m currently wait listed for the fall 2013 term. I’m just really in need of some hope lol. I was told in an e-mail that the latest I would hear back about my status is July 15.</p>
<p>Unfortunately, I was not accepted last year when I posted this but it might depend on the specific major and all that… it was my 2nd time applying. BUT, I guess what they say is true: “third time’s the charm”… I have been accepted for Fall 2013!! Still can’t believe it!</p>

<p>I just received an email today at 4pm say that I got accepted. I was on waitlisted last week.
