<p>My daughter just received the letter saying she is waitlisted in the School of Management. Her first choice has been Bucknell, with a backup plan of attending SUNY Geneseo (already accepted).</p>

<p>Does anyone have experience/comments regarding students getting accepted off the WL? </p>

<p>If this is just a polite rejection, she’ll move on. However, if there is a chance . . .</p>

<p>The latest info I've found is for 2004-05, and Bucknell admitted 69 students from the waitlist that year (about 8% of the freshman class). If it's what she really wants, definitely go for it, and be sure to stay in touch with admissions to show high interest. Good luck!</p>
