Im a transfer student from texas trying to get into u of mn college of liberal arts.today i got the notice i got wait listed. Im trying to go to cla for major in econ and minor in business.
What can i do to increase my chances to get in? Im thinking to email a letter to the admissions and my transfer admissions.

Having looked at your stats, you’re in a good standing. And being waitlisted means just that… “We want you, but…”
The real issue was that you’re trying to get in for Spring this year, rather than Fall of next year. You missed the priority deadline, so in all likelihood the available slots (which aren’t large for Spring transfers to begin with) have been assigned. There will be cancellations and drops, and you’re in good stead to take one of those as a replacement.
Short of chasing away transfers who got their application in on time, I can only advise patience.
