<p>Sometimes (although I’m not sure about Hotchkiss) the waitlist really is a financial aid waitlist. In other words, they know they want you, but have to see who else turns down a financial aid offer in order to be able to give you what you need. But I don’t know if that’s the case at Hotchkiss.</p>
