<p>Are you actually in London? That could have an effect on things.</p>
<p>What other schools are you applying to? Are you asking for chances of getting off the waitlist for Deerfield only?</p>

<p>I would suggest that YOU call/send a letter to the school, instead of your parents. One of us (a lot of us are using the same account asking/answering various questions) was waitlisted at the college he/she now attends. Don’t be pesky; make one phone call, send one recommendation letter.</p>
<p>It’ll be difficult- chances are, since you are applying as an 11th grader, those who do get in will hold on to their spots with all their might. Good luck!</p>
