When you accept a place on a wait-list, if you have another acceptance, you can pick one of those and send in the deposit. If you get in to the wait-listed school and you choose to go there, you forfeit the deposit. If you haven’t gotten in off the waitlist before May 1st, definitely send in a deposit to a school where you’ve been accepted, unless you’re okay with going to cc instead.

is there anyone who e-mailed them back about holding a spot on the waitlist? if so, was there supposed to be a confirmation number? i e-mailed them about a week ago, and still haven’t heard anything back.

@sopranomom thank you for your reply :)

I sent an email responding to their wait-list, I still have yet to hear a response.

@ myjunkisyou,

if you emailed csulb a wk ago and havent heard any reply, its because they are on spring break this week. u should probably hear a response next week, if not, call them monday. hope that helps.

hey, are any of you guys on the waitlist able to log in to mycsulb?

=) thank you

&no, unable to log on

I read that CSUF’s waitlist only accepts people above a 3.30 GPA, is Long Beach the same?

i got rejected with a 3.5

Is anyone here that is waitlisted, waitlisted as a transfer student?
I called enrollment services and the lady said still no decision, and that I should give it a few more weeks… Really hard waiting!

yeah its stupid that I have to wait for this. I am a transfer too. I am going to lose SFstate housing if I dont apply soon.

Im in the same situation PScholler,
I’m already a student at CSUN, trying to transfer in CSULB, but CSUN’s housing form and deposit is due by April 12th! I’m going to lose a big deposit if I don’t hear by then, when I tried telling the enrollment services this they simply said that everyone else is in the same situation. This is true, but I wish they would see how hard of a situation it is.

I hope I’m not being nosy, but why do you even want to transfer to CSULB if you’re already attending another CSU?

Haha it’s okay it’s not nosy.

But because CSUN doesn’t have environmental engineering or environmental science and CSULB does. I applied to several UC’s and CSUN was my backup, when I got denied to the UC’s i applied for, I opted to go to CSUN instead of a CC, even though they didn’t have the exact major I wanted. I went underneath civil engineering and environmental health, similar but still not exactly what I want to do.

Ah I see. I hope you hear from CSULB soon. =D

i applied to csulb and still havent heard anything back… the last letter i got was telling me that i made it to the final round of apps… but i been checking the phone system and it says the same thing… i been asking around and i havent heard of anyone acceptance yet… i already been put on the wait list for sdsu… i dono what my chances r my gpa is 3.3…

I have been waitlisted as well. my cum gpa is 3.5, SAT 1640, ACT 23. Extracurriculars are okay; I’ve played 4 years of water polo, I’m a varsity 4 year wrestler, and I throw discus in track&field for 4 years as well. What should I do if I really want to go to CSULB?
honestly it seems like the perfect school for me

They don’t look at extra curriculars

i been waitlisted to! but i got accepted at csuf! =)
