What are you guys doing right now to improve your chance, if any?

Had the director of a summer program I went to call them. This is what she told me:

"Daniel said of the 5-600 wait-listed students about half are expected to withdraw and there will be a clearer picture by the first week of May. You can remain wait-listed as late as June or July."

If i remember right, 209 students were accepted of the waitlist last year

Yeah, but not all of them are from the same school.

but still, 209 out of 300 aint bad

mann wat i really want to get is guaranteed transfer.

i'd rather get in off the waitlist...

Actually... it was 209 out of 1,544.
See p. 8 of http://dpb.cornell.edu/documents/1000297.pdf for the waitlist data from last year.

question: when should we start sending in additional stuff? i had thought after may 1st (since thats when they know if the waitlist will be utilized), but has anyone started sending in additional letters, updated grades etc as of now?

same question as above poster; also, does anyone know the address we should send stuff to? In their letter, they only had the FA address if I'm not mistaken..

I'm waiting till after 3rd quarter grades come out.
call the admissions office to find out the address.

anyone else have the address? I can't call bec of time zone differences (and i still need to buy a long-dist phone card since my phone doesn't have long-dist)
